Lesson 13-14 (optional)
Analyse greenhouse gas data
Throughout this lesson series, students will be encouraged to use the knowledge learnt during the unit to develop ideas for how they can help to reduce climate change. Students will require ready access to ICT at a whole-class, small-group and individual level.
As an extension exercise, the use of a graphing calculator or spreadsheet should be considered for some of the graphing in this activity.

- Present a persuasive argument for people to adopt their chosen strategies and subsequently reduce climate change.
Evidence of Learning
Can the student:
- Accurately graph tabulated data.
- Analyse patterns and trends in tabulated and graphed datasets, describing the relationship between the average global temperature and carbon dioxide concentration.
- Determine whether there is a relationship between the concentration of one of the most significant greenhouse gases and changes in global temperature.
